Procedures

In addition to offering comprehensive well and sick care services, we also perform a variety of procedures in our office.  We hope that by offering these services right in our office, you will not have to be referred to an outside facility, which could delay your child's care and cause you inconvenience.  Listed below are some of the procedures that we perform in our office.

Laceration repair - Most simple lacerations can be repaired by our physicians.

Wart removal - We offer a treatment called Verrucae Freeze.  Sometimes multiple visits are required to completely eliminate the wart.

Toenail removal - Several of our physicians can provide relief from ingrown toenails with this procedure.

Foreign body removal - Children seem to stick lots of things into various places.  If your child has something in his or her ear, nose or skin, we will make every attempt at removing it.

Fracture Treatment - Because we have x-ray services available on-site, we can evaluate your child's injury and determine the appropriate treatment plan.  If your child has a simple fracture, we can apply a cast, brace, sling or splint as needed.  We will then care for your child until the fracture has healed.  If the fracture is more complex, we will refer you to the appropriate facility.

Circumcision - If you were not able to receive this service in the hospital when your son was born, one of our physicians can provide this service in the office.
