| When should I schedule my child's checkups? | |

We recommend that your infant's (birth to 18 months) well-care visits be scheduled while you are here for that child's current checkup. For example, when you are in the office for your child's two-month checkup, schedule the four-month checkup before you leave. It is recommended that children 2 years and older have annual checkups. Many people schedule these appointments at or around the child's birthday. Because more time is required for well-child checkups, please call 30 days in advance to make your appointment. August, for example, is a very busy time in our office as many of the children are starting school. Some immunizations are required for school (especially Kindergarten and High School), so it is important to make these appointments as soon as possible.
